Goodson Honda / Memorial Informative - Cheated By Honda Goodson / Memorial Dealership

Review by CHEATED COMSUMER on 2008-04-01
HOUSTON, TEXAS -- I will never recommend any of my family and friends to buy any Honda, because of harassment and disrespect we got from above mentioned Honda dealership, after we paid in full by a personal check. We were cheated and misinformed and almost didn't even get our deposit credited back on final purchase. We had to come back and remind them for it.We were also cheated on our sales taxes by $200.00, which was finally corrected when we brought it to their attention.

We are very disappointed in Honda, seems like they just hire people off the street to sell their cars. Our experience at Honda dealership was horrible and we were very disappointed with the General Manager as well since he didn't even care about how his staff treated their customers.

He actually told us to give the car away to our neighbor if we are not happy with the purchase.

Give the car away to your neighbor?? I would have asked him what kind of drugs he was on!

I wish you gave more details. They did not apply your deposit to the sale? They cheated you on the taxes. 1) Call the consumer protection office of your attorney general. 2) Call the sales tax division of your secretary of state. The salesman sounds like a real goof.

Sorry, this post has no credit when no details are given. And by the way, Honda dealerships are independently owned and operated so blaming Honda for issues (which you really didn't explain) is not fair...There is a difference as well between "cheat" and "mistake." I think you need to elaborate here.

Too bad I don't live next to you, OP. I'd take a Honda in a heartbeat.

Please provide more details to the issues you've eluded to. Aerocave-best answer
