Quiznos, Store Complaint - Poor Food Service

Review by Steven B on 2008-04-03
RICHARDSON, TEXAS -- I have called Quiznos Corp. office about this store before, but the manager has only ignored my complaint. The issue is, the stores have complimentary items for customers like pickles, peppers, jalapeños, etc. My issue is that the store closes at 9 pm and they always remove these items by 8:15pm. So the customer is simply out of luck if he wants any of these items.

When I talked to corp. in Denver, they told me they would contact the owner and let him know. But they are still doing this. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated by me and the other people who occasionally dine at this store.

There has been a lot of them closing in the Chicago area. There is one near my house that closed...it is being converted into a gyros fast food joint. Apparently the public has spoken: "we do not like Quiznos, we like gyros!"

But they have a pepper bar!

I've never been to Quizno's. But putting items away 45 minutes before closing seems a little too early to me. If they are offering them, unless they ran out of everything or it has been sitting out for too long, they should keep them out for the customer's that want them.

I think the reason that so many close is that their franchise fees are astronomical. That being said, I think their sandwiches are awesome. I'd eat there every day except that I'd be as big as a house. They don't skimp on calories.

Their stores are all franchises - calling "corporate" won't do any good. If this is a concern, talk to the local store manager about it. He might not realize people care that much about peppers.

I've never been to Quizno's but if they offer these condiments, then they should be available until close of business. I agree with Hugh...talk to the local store manager...corporate won't be helpful at all.

franchise, they only take action if it is a real serious problem. Putting these items away 45 minutes early, while irritating is not what corporate would consider a problem. In Arizona, the franchise holder's name and contact info are required to be posted in plain sight in the restaurant. Contact the franchise owner. Chances are it is not the manager, the manager is just an employee like everyone else. Let the owner know that they will start losing business as long as this manager is allowed to do this. Mention hitting them in the pocketbook, and things change.
