LA Fitness Complaint - Club services NOT as presented - Nothing but problems
HARRISBURG, PENNSYLVANIA -- Joined the club only one month ago. Nothing but problems from the start. Explained I had physical limitation and was 'assured' by the sales rep that the classes I was interested in were geared for ALL levels of ability. Yeah right... NOT! Yoga taught at advanced levels and aqua fit was done at a pace too fast for water resistance. Personal trainer never even showed up for free assessment for my husband. Told racquetball courts open pretty much 'all the time'. Yeah right... NOT! Have to reserve to guarantee court. Voiced my concerns to the club. Finally told Op Mgr I wanted to cancel. He put it through via computer but said I'd still be billed another month plus I had already paid the last month. Tried every level from club management to regional management to TX customer service personnel TWICE. Will not refund the one month billing that happened to occur on day I called to cancel due to problems.
Got a complaint? Be prepared to talk to people who will be quick to say, "I understand" but could care less with making any of it right financially. I'm out the initiation fee, last month I paid for PLUS the month they'll bill for today.
Happily they say you still have a membership for two and a half months. Yeah right.... NO THANKS!
