Priceline.com Informative - Common Sense, People!
TENNESSEE -- I am what they call a customer relations specialist for priceline.com, I am the highest level you can speak w/ when you call in. Now, as for our horrible service, I know that maybe there are some agents that don't come off as the nicest people in the world, and I am not condoning that by any means, but we are human as well.
Anytime a customer has an issue, it's MOST LIKELY because they didn't read the contract page!!! I personally think most of the policies are fair, and if you read the contract page, you understand the restrictions PRIOR to purchasing your reservation. I can't tell you how many times I get customers telling me it's a system issue, in that we "switched" the information, and had they read the contract page, they would've noticed that the entered in the wrong date or star level! I, myself, went and named my own price on a hotel, and I proofread the contract page, it looked correct, and would you believe that I got EXACTLY what I had asked for!!!
Now, as far as flights go, you can READ ON THE CONTRACT PAGE that the flight times will be BETWEEN 6AM AND 10PM!!!! Don't call and say you put in for a morning or evening flight, and then be upset you got the opposite! EVERYTHING, REALLY, IS LAID OUT ON THE CONTRACT PAGE, READ IT!!!!
Priceline is not a difficult thing to understand, just don't enter in your credit card number thinking you're only going to look at prices, and READ THE CONTRACT PAGE!!!!!! We've been told we're stealing people's money, but had you not put your billing information in, you wouldn't have an issue! It will make your life and those of the customer care/customer relations departments a WHOLE lot easier!
