Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Complaint - Botched Procedure And Report

Review by lightfull on 2008-04-07
SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA -- The technician quoted the radiologist stating "the fulid was blocked and not getting far enough down into the pelvis to get a good reading." (Not even sure now that the tech gave me iv fluid as I don't remember the warm/hot feeling previously felt after fluid was added to IV).
They left me laying on the table uncomfortable and for long periods of time.
Then the tech said the rad wanted to do a rectal fluid scan. I told them that it would not do any good as the PREVIOUS rectal had not shown anything.
They insisted...then AFTERWARDS, the tech told me that she had INFLATED THE BALLOON TOO MUCH...
this all took so long that I missed another important test.

The report does not state any of the above.
It repeats, of course, the same results as the previous rectal exam JUST AS I TOLD THEM IT WOULD.

HOW DO YOU GET THEM TO STATE WHAT REALLY HAPPENED IN ORDER TO NOT Minimize or VOID A PREVIOUS DX? This inaccurate report could negatively affect my health.

I found out I am allergic to the IODINE and have to do a three day prep and am still very sick for several days after each CT.

They have mixed up dates on tests. changed the names of the reading radiologists...as well as put in inaccurate wording and results.

If you already know more than the experts, why bother with the tests at all?
