Comcast Corporation Complaint - Comcast-As Sneaky as ever - Their New Motto : "OH WELL"
I have tried Comcast a few times thru the years and it always ends the same.. Badly.
On the same lines of the AT&T commercial...
My package was over and for cable/internet my bill Jump $50 more a month and then I did what Ive done in the past, called to let them know I was switching to old faithful,WOW Cable. Now Guess what their response was.. yup.. "OH WELL" So back I went to WOW Cable, happily. Feeling nice and safe again and vowing once again to never give Comcast my money again.
3 months later. I have a mystery outstanding charge of $39.99. Which seems like nothing compared to the heart wrenching bill for $500.00 that I opened from them. Well of course I called with the beating, I-hate-Comcast heart. It went well actually , he check that I did return all their equipment, adjusted the bill, I paid we were even. Because of past experiences I still had the feeling it wasn't the end of it,everything just went a little to smoothly.
Fast forward to now. Here comes the bill for the $39.99, when I call to inquire her answer was; "Its a balance due". "balance due from what?" I ask. Then this was repeated 3 times by her and then me.. Then I asked her "Please tell me this isn't how this call is going to go?" She then decide to look a little deeper and said it was for my modem that I didn't return. I returned the modem, triple checked while I had her hold, NO MODEM. Her response.. well we don't have it.So now what can I do? I Let her know that I don't have , nor do I want their modem and that I would like this charge dropped and to please send me an itemized bill from the last payment I made, when I paid in full. (One more jab from her, but your NOT paid in full) I actually had to laugh at her this time. This was last week, I received that bill today, with no explanation, no itemization, just an amount due: $39.99 oh and lets not forget the ***$4.00 AGENT FEE*** Charge that was added for her.. ahem.. help!
So they found yet another way to Dis their customers other then by phone, THEY CHARGE YOU NOW FOR THE DISRESPECT!!! Surprise!!!
I WILL fight this to the end. Sooooo, here we go again..SIGH...
