First Premier Bank Gold Card Complaint - Bad Customer Service

NEWTON, NEW JERSEY -- OK so I wanted to place a order online with my First Premier Bank Gold Card. But I had forgotten the PO box address that I had placed on my account. So the order was not going through so I decide to call First Premier Bank customer service dept. After I verified all my info including my SSN, DOB, drivers license # credit card account # and password, they were still not willing to give me any account info. They said I could update my account with a new address but would not give me any current acct info when it comes to my identity or personal information. That is just full of you know what.

And also the way they went about it was all wrong. They did explain why they would not give out the info or apologize for the inconvenience. Just said I'm sorry no. But in a very nasty way.

I will be canceling my card and this was one of the worst customer services experiences I had come across in a long time. I work in customer service and I would never treat my customers like that. I always explain why and offer solutions.

Sounds like they were just trying to protect you from identity theft. I don't think any other bank will be different. But good luck though.
