Yahoo.com web hosting Complaint - Impossible to contact customer care to redirect my domain name
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- I had a problem changing my account information with YAHOO when I relocated a year ago. When trying online, I could not get past the password to enter the billing area, and could not contact anyone to change it for me, or give me the password. I had a hosting plan with YAHOO for one of my domain names. Finally, I decided to get out of YAHOO and add that domain to my domains with Verio.com. I have been with them since 1996 and have no trouble contacting them and getting any help I need.
After many hours online, and on the telephone, I managed to get my domain name transfered to Verio, but have not been able to contact anyone at YAHOO to redirect my domain name hosting plan to Verio. I have spent hours online and on the phone trying to reach a human being. I have been getting a message that says, due to the unusual traffic they are not able to take my call. I have tried at least 50 times and at all hours. They must have two operators fielding the calls. I figure my time is as valuable as any doctor or lawyer and intend to sue them for my time at a modest $175 an hour.
They obviously do not care about their customers, only their potential customers. I have not been able to access my web site for over a month. I am advising everyone to avoid Yahoo. You should all do the same.
