Supergrif/Opella Complaint - Supergrif/Opella Products

Review by Mitra on 2008-04-14
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA -- I bought my bath faucet, shower thermostatic valves, and bath tub filler with hand shower from Supergrif also called Opella. I spent nearly $3000 on the above.

I will never buy their products again as beautiful as they are. My experience was terrible, because in each case they sent the wrong parts, or didn't not send the necessary parts with the shipment.

I had to contact them several times and the each time they tried re-sending the part but it was the wrong part again. It was quite a tiring experience. They told me once, that they had shipped using UPS's 2-day service, and after I didn't receive the shipment, I found out that they part was never sent, and they lied to me.

Anyway, with my shower thermostatic valves, it took an extra 3 weeks to resolve the problem. With my Tub filler, I am still waiting after 3 weeks for the right adapter. They have shipped a wrong part three times already.

It has been a completely disappointing experience. My project has gotten delayed due to the fact that supergrif/opella couldn't manage shipping the product with the correct pieces that work for the US.

Best of luck,

Mitra

Thanks for your post. The more money we spend on a product or service, the more entitled we are to receive competent care. It is a quid pro quo expectation. It is easier to walk away from being poorly handled after purchasing a $2 lightbulb that doesn't work than it is to walk away after spending $3000 on a luxury we looked forward to enjoying.
