Dish Network Complaint - Dish Network Tech Support
This is not a question. It's a complaint. I have been a dish subscriber for a very long time and I am incredibly disappointed in tech support. The most recent example. I got an error message yesterday when I turned on my TV. It said there was a critical hard drive error:
I was told via this message to call Dish. After realizing that the satellite tuner was working I was relieved to know I could at least watch TV on that set. I called Tech Support. Within just a few minutes, he, Jessie, had managed to work it out so that the Dish DVR Receiver was totally useless. I asked to speak with a supervisor. None was available. It was clear to both Jessie and me that the DVR had to be replaced. He said I would receive one today. I checked the
tracking number which I finally received this morning via email. The DVR will be delivered on Monday. I have been disappointed before, not just in Tech Support, but in installation, customer service. When FIOS TV is finally available in my neighborhood I will be saying goodbye to DISH where incompetence reigns.
