Supershuttle-Dallas 25% Fare Increase Recently Informative - Raises Fares Again 30% last week

Review by Bluelips on 2008-04-18
DALLAS, TEXAS -- Under the guise of fuel costs and operational costs Supershuttle has stuck it to the traveler again in the DFW area. Already one of the most expensive cities to take a shuttle in, DFW has apparently no regulation over shuttle services making it so the consumer is forced to pay outrageous prices for very poor service. For example the recent fare increase amounts to $11 each way from where I live or $22 round trip. And try to call Supershuttle to express your dismay at how they treat the public, they could care less.

Someone needs to start a shuttle service that actually cares about on time performance, about the passengers experience and about taking care of customers.

$22.00 sounds cheap to me. In Los Angeles it cost $40.00 one-way to take the Super shuttle . You have it good and don't even know it.

'Someone needs to start a shuttle service...' This would be a very good business for you to get in to. Then you could charge $5 each way and keep everybody happy. Good idea?

Let me clarify, that was the increase. Fares out of my area to the airport are roughly $50 each way. The $11-$22 was not the fare but the increase that they tacked on. And they have not lowered fares even though gas prices have gone down.

Thanks for the sarcastic responses. It's nice to see that some of you have a sense of humor.
