Makin Mattresses Complaint - Sold Faulty Product And Refused Us A Refund
BRISBANE -- We were sold a faulty mattress which they admitted twice,at different times, was faulty. Then refused us a refund. We had reports from the osteopath outlining the damage being done to my lower back from the mattress, which they ignored. They knew they were in the wrong because after receiving our first official letter of complaint they offered us a store credit. We did not want a store credit, because they only sell what they make. After speaking with our lawyer and getting no response from them we had no choice but to settle for the store credit because we couldn't afford another mattress and my back was so bad I was sleeping on an air mattress in the living room.
The new mattress is no better and now we have no comeback because we accepted the store credit. We were right in the first place - they make shoddy products and have no ethics.
