Silver Leaf Resorts Informative - Horrible Customer Service
MASSACHUSETTS -- I decide to sign up for a time share at Silver Leaf Resorts, about 2 years ago. We took the tour enjoyed our time spent on the property. This was 2 years ago. I lost my job, making 3x the amount I am currently making. I have been struggling to keep up with the now large monthly payment plan. I've sent a written request detailing my families income and monthly expenditure information. 2 months later I had to contact the finance department because nothing was done, I didn't not receive any letters, phone calls etc even though I placed a follow up call to confirm all the necessary paperwork was received via fax.
After speaking to the customer service person, I was told I need to take my son out of Karate (something he has been doing for 4 years), not have a cell phone( my only phone line). This would save me maybe $75. I am infuriated at the lack of attention paid to the review of my request.
But still I get phone calls almost everyday to sign up families and friends for a "tour" ( a high pressure sale seminar). I will never recommend any of my fiends, family, and peers to do business with Silverleaf Resorts.
