Comcast Corporation Compliment - Way To Go Comcast! - Move, And New Installation
CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE -- I recently have moved. All my services were updated and so forth. But here is my ordeal with Comcast.
I made my move request via the 800 number, I was given a date for service installation. There was some confusion, and that day had passed. I tried to get connected without being here, they said okay, we can do that. Ooppss no they cannot. I did call the local number on my bill to schedule my install, this seems the best way to assure your service.
I called and made the request again, but was told I must be there, no exceptions. On the day they were to arrive, I received a telephone call 5 minutes after their start window, and was told the tech would be there in 10 minutes. He showed up in 14 minutes! (Lol)
since my house was a foreclosure, they decided to re-wire. I offered to crawl in the crawl space and drag his wire, but the nice man said, he will do that. I had to lend him my flashlight.
After he crawled under my house, connected the wires, verified all was well, he left.
I was shocked he went under the house, and actually called to say he was on his way. The first missed appointment was not critical, so that is no biggie. Before he left, I had to verify with his supervisor he did a good job, I had no complaints, the service was active and working.
Comcast, your tech went out of his way to install my cable. He left my house neat and clean, and was very friendly and courteous.
All in all, this was a perfect installation.
I did discover, if the tech is in a Comcast vehicle, he is their person, but if not, they are a contractor. He said in general, Comcast tech's are a little more concerned about you.
Way to go Comcast!!
