Everything that is being said about Spirit Airlines is completely true. Their customer service is non-existent, making you hold the line only to be directed to a person that doesn't exist. They were not helpful in changing tickets, nor at answering questions about my travel. I would NOT recommend flying on Spirit Air. Pay the extra money to use the larger, well-know airlines.
Not to mention, I didn't know that baggage had to be paid for until after I bought my tickets. (And you don't even get free peanuts!).
