Lowe's Compliment - Delivery Service/Credit
RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA -- I recently bought a washer and dryer from Lowe's. They both work wonderfully with no complaints. I wanted to write about the wonderful customer service I received with the delivery and a credit I was owed.
I was called before 9 AM as promised on the day of delivery with a 2 hour window of when delivery would take place (between 12 and 2). When 2 o'clock rolled around my delivery wasn't here, BUT my phone rang (it was on the dot, I swear). It was the delivery guys calling apologizing for the delay and they would be there in 10 min. Sure enough, at 2:10 they rolled up.
The delivery men, Daniel and Marcus, were very nice, respectful of my property, and very professional. They even showed me how to use my new washer and dryer. I could have read the book, but I wanted to see if they knew anything about their product. They did! There was only one problem--the upgraded connector thingy I paid extra for wasn't on the truck. I asked if I could have a refund of the difference between the regular part and the upgraded part. They decided for my trouble they would give me a full refund on the part altogether. It wasn't a lot of money, but I was appreciative of the offer.
I watched my credit card online and by Friday there was no credit, so I called the store. I was immediately transferred to a manager, Cynthia. She took some information and said she would call me back in an hour or two. I'm thinking I'll never hear from her. Guess what? She called me only 45 min. later and said I would receive the credit on my card in a couple of days. As of today the credit has showed up on my card and all is well.
