Verizon Complaint - Phone Service - Or Lack Thereof
WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA -- I have been without a dial tone for two days now. After wading through Verizon's insane automated phone repair service, I placed a trouble report. The machine said they would be out to repair it today. No one showed. No one called. When I again, waded through the automated system and finally screamed loud enough to get an agent, the idiot who answered said it would be next Wednesday before they could get to me. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told they "couldn't find one." When I asked for them to find one and have them call me back on my cell phone, they say they aren't allowed to make outgoing calls. I then go online to report a complaint and unbelievably, that system also doesn't work. I try five times to file a complaint and it never works. AMAZING.
I hope regulators won't let Verizon extend their monopoly. They deserve to be run out of business. Worst customer service I've ever seen. Truly appalling. Can't wait to call all the consumer reports reporters I can find tomorrow morning.
