Hewlett-Packard Company Complaint - Refusal To Honor warranty
GIBSONVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA -- I purchased a HP pavillion dv2000 laptop on 08/2007. The mother board started to overheat 03/20/2008...I called and a person who couldn't understand English promised that they would have my laptop fixed and returned by 04/06/2008. So I sent my laptop to them on 03/21/2008 and the nightmare began.By 04/10/2008 I still did not have my laptop. I called (nightmare) and finally reached the headquaters in Texas and reached a very rude rep. by the name of Kimberly (gag). She tells me through her gum chewing and refusal to listen to my calm complaint that I didnot receive my laptop as promised. She replies no one gets a repair back in 10..I replied YOUR company is telling people that. No response. I was also told by her that it is a mandatory 3 to 4 weeks before any laptop is repaired and returned and only then would they even think about replacing the item. I told her to send my item back. She replies you don't want us to do that and she hung up. 1 day later I called back and my laptop was not on its way. I finally received it on the 04/12/08 and it was in pieces. I couldn't believe it. I called and had to have yet another pick up of the item. I was promised a repair and delivery date 04/24/2008. Well its not here and now they can not tell me when or if I will get my computer back. I think I will follow the lead of someone else on here and file claim next week.
