Qwest Complaint - Qwest does not reimburse for their negligence!!
Resolution Update on 04/24/2008:
Just spoke to Larry at Qwest. Seems they did have it noted down I was to be credited. They waived the charges and will restore my service.
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON -- I have a small business account with Qwest for phone and DSL service. I recently moved to another office within the same building. No access is required to the office since the telephone closet is located outside for the technicians.
Prior to the technician's dispatch he called me. I did not answer the phone in time but called back immediately inquiring if this was about the install scheduled that day. The person rudely stated it will get done and hung up.
My phone line was disconnected and a notice was left on my door that "no one was home"
My business line was down for a week and I lost business because of it. After arguing with several representatives the manager came online and scheduled a install the following business day. And due to their error the manager promised to waive the install fee and one month service charge.
So the business line was reconnected by a different tech who stated clearly that all the work is done in the telephone closet and no access is required to the office.
Well Qwest still charged me for the install and monthly charge. I am now told they are not responsible for loss of business and do not provide reimbursement. I refuse to pay and my phone has been shut off.
Whatever Qwest. I will find another provider for
