Alltel Informative - Watch your bills - AllTel Customer Service
My issue started 3 months ago when I noticed City Taxes on my bill. After researching I'd been paying City Tax for nearly a year on my account. We have no city taxes where I live. When I talked to Customer Service, they said the computer calculates the Taxes and they cannot be adjusted. I called back a month later and talked to yet another CS who said I needed to have my City Administrator draft an exemption letter and send to Corporate. (Really -- come on -- we're not exempt, WE DO NOT HAVE CITY TAXES.) I did end up speaking with the City Attorney (who was furious) and wanted copies of my bills.
Oh yea -- while I'm doing this -- I refuse to pay for service and so our service is interrupted. Today I phoned CS again -- talked to 6 people, "they are all very sorry" Customer Service, Financial Services, back and forth for 45 minutes. They way I they left it, they're not doing anything. I'm not paying and another provider is happy to have our business AllTel had for 14 years. Too bad for them!!
