Sonic Industries Complaint - Got Cheated - Drink Special From 2pm Until 4pm
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- My husband ordered at 3:45pm two large cranberry slushes, and one 44oz. diet coke. The three drinks came to $5.28. I left a message at the main office, but have not received a call back.
This Sonic Drive-In is located on 45th St. in Amarillo,TX. I called and talked to the Manager(Jessica) and she said the ticket was right. That fruit drinks do not count. Now the foam cup reads "HAPPY HOUR" Every Day 2-4pm. 1/2 Price Drinks & Slushes. OMG, what the heck is this a rip off to the consumer? The two cranberry drinks were not even a slush. They had regular ice not slush (Another rip off). Jessica told me to bring the receipt. How can I do that when my husband was not given a receipt? These Sonics in Amarillo are going down hill deluxe. We can go out of town and get a decent hamburger and drink at another Sonic and get what we ordered. I would like for who ever is in charge to call me ASAP. My phone number is (806)358-4943. The girl that brought my husband the receipt in her hand and said she could not change what the computer says, that is GRAP.
I have managed motels, restaurants, school teacher and law enforcement. Give me a break. I am not stupid about things such as this.
