Supposed crime and ethics issues at Gym locations - Complaint
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA -- I am very upset at 24 Hour Fitness for over billing me and treating me badly. No matter what any of you say, I am looking forward to see what happens with this lawsuit. And yes, I posted this (public record information) on another site because I think that it shouldn't be buried like some other cases I've seen on the internet. Who are you to tell me what I should or shouldn't say about this matter. I am only telling what is public and what I have seen as far as the affects this has on my friend. I will post more when I can get it. I saw that the lawsuit was filed with the court. Since I can't get any documents out of my friend I will see if I can get them from the court. I am trying to contact my friend about this and I will see what he says about what I am doing. I think I am helping others like myself with information that may help when putting up with poor, rude, and irrational attitudes from this company.
As far as crime goes? I saw so many posting of people's lockers being broken into, gay sex in the saunas, cars being broken into in the parking lots - as also reported by the media.

Sorry, Posting here about your cancellation problems is one thing. But I believe that I would keep my mouth shut and mind my own business about my "friends" problems and lawsuit UNTIL it's public record.

I agree with jkt. You are using very poor judgement in talking about someone else's legal problems on this site.
It does seem that 24-hour fitness does this a lot--continually charging people after they have cancelled. I just happened to talk to someone else the other day that had this happen to them--and it happened to my son a couple of years ago. They sure must make a lot of extra money doing this. Hope someone can get it resolved.

I agree with the above. I would edit this to take out any references to your friend and his issues. You are not doing him any favors by posting this on the internet and may actually hurt any court case that comes about.

If you have a brain in your head, you will contact M3C and have them immediately pull this post. The fact you posted this in wholly inappropriate and if 24 Hour Fitness gets ahold of this your "friend's" case could be down the tubes. I wonder if he/she knows about this post?

I have to agree with everyone above - you are opening yourself up to all sorts of problems by spreading hearsay in a public forum. There has to be more to this that your friend wants you to know or he would reveal at least some of the details.

Actually Susan, if poster wanted, they can edit and delete their complaint on their own. I do agree with the others. The post has a strange uncomfortable feel to it. Speaking on behalf of another who has litigation pending and the like.

This person, under the same name, posted an identical letter on the Ripoff Report yesterday, 4/27. This sort of gives me the creeps - - what could possibly be the point? Unless the poster and the friend are one in the same?

You mentioned criminal as well as civil issues. Your posting this if it is a criminal case could get you a knock on your door. Take the advice and remove or modify this post.
