Southwest Airlines Complaint - Lost luggage and their mocking of our situation
MANCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE -- We were recently disappointed with the lack of concern for our lost luggage by SWA. Granted, we were not alone. There were at least 10 other folks that were in the same boat as us. My question is, how does luggage get lost with a direct flight and we were at the airport 2 hours ahead to check in.
The baggage handler came out to announce that all the luggage from the flight was out & that if our bag wasn't there, we needed to go file a claim with SWA. He then proceeded to mutter that my husband was a f...... a...... so that others heard him, one being my teenage daughter.
They were completely inappropriate, unprofessional, and did not hesitate to phone security to stand by even though the only ones that were acting threatening were the SWA employees and the baggage handler. I have never been treated with such disrespect or disregard. In my profession, I would be fired for such bad customer service and unprofessionalism.
We have yet to get our bag... from the other reviews, we'll be lucky if we do and even luckier if the contents are still intact.
It seems like the customers are the hostages and have lost the right to complain and that we are at the mercy of the airlines. I'd just like SWA to know that next time we will seek alternate airlines for our travel plans.
