Coachman Campers Complaint - Coachman Camper Leaking

Review by bradfrad on 2008-04-29
VERNON, NEW YORK -- I purchased my 2001 Coachman new, for the last four years I have had:

- pipes leaking,
- slide out leaking
- back window leaking
- the siding pulling away from the frame
- electrical problems with the air cond.
- the awning was not properly aligned
- the molding on the inside of the camper falling off

I have owned two other campers, I feel the quality of coachman is horrible. I will never buy another Coachman.

Coachman generally makes pretty good RV's - maybe you need to find a better dealer - one that will take your concerns seriously and get them fixed. Call Coachman and ask then who's your second closest dealer. Good luck!

We just bought a 2001 coachmen catalina and have found 3 leaky spots in the roof and several walls are going to need to be replaced. There are also about 3 sheets of fiberglass on the outside of the camper that will need to be replaced because the wood behind them is rotten! I don't think it has anything to do with the dealership, it's the maker!
