Just Flowers.com Complaint - Lame Service Provider

Review by ltfibri on 2008-04-29
Same day delivery, posted all over thier web site. I needed flowers sent to the wife for our anniversary.I contacted just flowers .Com early morning, i'm stuck at work for 24 hours and was unable to go pick something out myself. At 4 pm I called my wife @ work no mention of flowers, so I called customer service @ just flowers.Com. After being on hold for like ten minutes, the woman comes back to the phone and says oh we're sorry but we called a flourist in a boardering state and they rejected the order. We can have something delivered tomorrow.

I could call your wife and tell her that you intended on sending flowers but we made an error. I wouldn't try to use them if I were you. They didn't even give me a courtesy call. Nice way to do business! Glad the flowers weren't for a funneral. Mine

How about remembering your anniversary the day of the event. That can't be to good either.

By the way, AlleyS, the word you needed in your comment is not "your"-meaning something belonging to you. The correct word is "you're"-the contraction for you are. We all make mistakes. The suggestion about using Spell Check is a good one for all of us.

Some people work 24 hour shifts, not everyone has the luxury of 9 hour days.

I can attest that AlleyS does not work for Flower.com.

Doggonit! I absolutely *hate* when these anniversaries just creep up on me with no warning. Didn't we have one just about a year ago? Sheesh...looks like I'll have to buy another gift.

This is not about remembering anniversaries or the timing of the order. This is a simple case of a company not living up to their word which they didn't which makes this a very valid complaint all domestic commentaries aside. Let she who has not let a special occasion slide under the radar cast the first stone.
