Comcast Corporation Complaint - Comcast punishes the one who pays....as well as the cheaters
CAROL STREAM, ILLINOIS -- After 17 years at the same location using Cable we had the most interesting and frustrating experience with Comcast this week. It all started when we noticed NEW neighbor 1 jumping over the fence and fiddling with the cable box that we all share. He seemed to be making spagetti with all the wires he was tampering with. So our picture isn't coming in right and we call Comcast. The repair guy is very nice and can't fix our problem inside so we tell him about the NEW neighbor 1 who was in the box. He goes out back looked at it and then leaves. While out on the street NEW neighbor 2 comes out to talk to him. (we have several new neighbors who would make your hair stand on end). Repair guy give this NEW neighbor 2 a whole roll of cable. And they smile, wave and both move along. We were like...holy cow isn't that interesting. So later that night around midnight we hear our dog going nuts and look out back to see both NEW neighbor 1 and 2 (suddenly best buds) crawling behind our fence and running cables. That box now looks like a giant bowl of spagetti. Splitters, wires, cables and broken open. Shady freaking morons crawling around to save 50 bucks a month. Karma needs to happen soon. So okay back to the drama. Our cable pictures is now worse. We call into comcast and our local police. Police here suck as bad as Comcast and say call them. Comcast said we will have someone out tomorrow to the box. No one comes. Call in again. We will have someone out today. No show again. I am so angry now and call again. He will be out today for sure. Some cigar smoking dude shows up at the box out back. Laughs, shrugs, bends down and leaves. Here is the best part. HE shut off our cable. I call in furious. I asked when are they turning the paying customers cable back on. Oh later today they say. Hey sure....right. No show. No cable all day and night (missing my shows) I have spent hours on hold complaining to deaf ears. I did nothing wrong but blow the whistle on the cheats and they cut my cable off with them. After reading the complaints about Dish and Direct TV who will please just give me some damn TV reception without interferring with my life to this degree? Comcast treated a long time customer who basically never had a problem before like a jerk. I have learned that if someone is cheating and ripping them off I will never report it again. NEVER!!! Honesty gets you a swift kick in the butt. They should of audited who was paying before just cutting of the whole box. Not my fault jerks have moved in my area. The thought of another phone call to them to try to get my service restored is like facing a root canal in the morning. Wait!! No it is more like facing major bypass surgery in the morning.
