Monster Mail Complaint - What a Rip-Off! - Shipping and Packing

Review by Fair-Play on 2008-05-02
AUSTIN, TEXAS -- Greed and indifference! These folks charged over $200 to overnight a package. The addressee overnighted it back to me for $59.61. I filed a BBB report and the jerk replied my complaint was ridiculous and asinine. Great business practice, huh? I called FedEx. The customer service rep told me his price is exorbitant too.

Just go to the UPS store, diagonal across the intersection, or to Kinko's -- You'll get better customer service and prices too.

And people wonder why they are called "Monster Mail"?

It's not a rip-off it's you not doing your homework. When you first sent it over night, you thought that $200 was a good deal... until you realized you could have gotten it cheaper.

Sent a package to Europe. UPS $200.00, FedEx $180.00, DHL $165.00, USPS $59.00. It pays to do your homework. Plus USPS could get it there the quickest with package tracking.

Your complaint IS "ridiculous and asinine". The time to check prices was before you mailed the package.

If you think now $200 is expensive then why did you pay for it? You can't get a service and then change your mind just because you want to.

You need to get over it and get a life!

By the way this person is posting this same message on various sites.
