CVS Complaint - Incompetent pharmacy service
AUGUSTA, GEORGIA -- First of all, I terminated the pharmacy's service about two years ago. The first thing was somehow the dosage was reduced without authorization. I looked over this as "human error". The next thing that happened, I was given someone else's medication. Thankfully, I could read, so I did not take the medication. I decided then, it was time to change to another pharmacy.
Now two years later, I try again. This time I had 4 prescriptions filled. Three were to be taken once a day the other twice a day. The one for twice a day had only 30 pills in it, but I did not notice this until I was getting low on those pills and not the other three, I told them they had miscounted, I even took the bottle which could not have held 30 additional pills, but they would not admit to a mistake. Okay.
The next time, I needed a refill for another prescription, I went in, there was one person ahead of me who needed a manager's assistance- it took about 15 min. In addition to getting my pills, I had picked up a few things in the store. I was tired, I sat to wait for them to finish with the one person in line. Toward the end of her transaction (it took 2 people to complete), someone walked up- I stood up and when the counter person finished, I gave her my name- she asked me if I was waiting. She had seen me sitting there for the duration of her waiting on the prior customer. I told her I had a call in. I paid for my meds with my card. I told her I wanted to get the other items as I turned around to get them, she started to help the customer . I left the merchandise. No longer will I need anything from them. I have at least five prescriptions filled each month and I ususally make additional purchases- but apparently, my business is not wanted. The customer service at the pharmacy is ludicrous.
