US Airways Complaint - Goodbye US Airways - Airline Reservation
FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA -- I purchased a 2 return flight tickets from Fort Lauderdale to Las Vegas. A month later US Airways changed the departure flight time from Las Vegas, from 11pm to 4pm. To make this story short, I called Travelocity.com customer service to request full refund and they agreed, but the refund will be credited back to my credit card after one month. So I purchased a different flight from Delta for a much cheaper price.
After 5 weeks, I received a partial refund ($184 out of 552). I called Travelocity and they told me to call US Airways because they were the ones giving the refund.
I called refund department of US Airways and they said that no one is allowed to confirm refund even if Travelocity.com says it was confirmed. They told me I was supposed to call US Airways directly. Finally, they agreed to give me a credit of the rest of the amount due to me in the amount of $368. She also agreed to waive the $100 fee for flight change.
Today, I called US Airways to make a reservation, the rep replied that there is no note about any credit to my name or credit card. I tried calling the refund department number 4805179230. There is no answer, no answering machine, no forwarding number.
I give up. Ill bite the bullet costing me $368. I had friend that borrowed $1400 and disappear. I guess airlines can do the same thing.
