Walmart - Warwick, Rhode Island Complaint - No Service - Customer Service Fabric Dept

Review by bellabee on 2008-05-11
Walmart in Warwick, near the RI mall has the worst customer service. I go there every week to buy fabric for my window decorating company. There is never, never anyone there to help. There is a bell, but no one responds. Their is an Asian lady who works there with an attitude.

When she finally comes down to help me after a half an hour and 3 calls from the other employees, she has a pissed off look on her face. She never says hello, she just says 'What do you want'.

The overall customer service sucks. I complained to the asst. manager and he said there is no Asian lady working there. I told him that I was wrong and that I come there twice a week and have to deal with this lady. He finally said, 'Oh, you mean, [snip],? I guess?

You continue to get fabric there yet you complain of constant poor service. No other fabric stores in your area?

Ahhh...the masochistic consumer. I saw a similar post once about an eatery..."The food there is awful. But at least you get big helpings."

Unfortunately, I don't think Wal-Mart really cares. They're a big, multi billion dollar company who can afford to not care if they lose a few customers to bad customer service, which I think won't be the case - people go to Wal-Mart for convenience, so they'll be willing to put up with sub-par customer service.

Sounds like Mrs. Swan went to work for Wal*Mart. LOL

I also go there for fabric. What ever happened to the 1 dollar and 2 dollar a yard fabric?
