Papa John's Pizza Complaint - Rude Employees And Unprofessional Atmosphere
46774, INDIANA -- For my sons birthday he requested Papa Johns. The last handful of times either my husband or I have come home from picking up our pizza ( delivery time is a joke ), we always have a story about the place. Most times it ranges from either employees acting like they don't understand what you want ( to get my pizza !) or just not being polite, saying hello or thank you are basics.
This last time I visited topped the cake. The place was empty except for me, and I was on time or even a little late to get my pizzas which I had ordered online and paid at least 25.00 dollars for. The girl approached me and I smiled, and said I had a carryout for Smith. She didn't hear me. Instead of saying, 'I'm sorry I didn't hear you.' She said 'what?', in an irritated exasperated way and even raised her hand palm up and made a little motion when she said it. I remained pleasant and repeated my name, she told me it would be a minute. I waited 5 minutes. In that five minute time she was very agitated with whatever was going on behind the counter, telling other delivery drivers that so and so was asked to come in to help, and he refused. To which another employee said he was outside having a 'consultation'.
When I exited the store the employee in question was outside the only other door to enter the building, having a verbal disagreement loud enough for customers coming in to hear. When I left two more people went into the store.
This last time was the last straw. I sent an online to complaint that was sent to the store operator/owner. Not that I think that will do any good. The people they are hiring lack any skills whatsoever to work with the public, they either are not being trained or are impossible to train.
The pizzas were really good, but that is not going to make up that I feel like I am entering the ghetto every time I visit this papa johns location.
