Kentucky Fried Chicken Complaint - Missing Items And Manager Out Of Tune
COOLIDGE, ARIZONA -- I wanted to save Crystal from having to cook or wash dishes, so we decided to get our dinner from the KFC/Taco Bell place in Coolidge, AZ. It was fairly busy, apparently a lot of people had the same idea. Crystal ordered the three strip dinner, and I got two honey BBQ Snackers and an order of Nachos. We went to the truck and decided to check the order before we left. There were no Nachos, and the three chicken strips looked more like samples.
We went back in and the girl at the register asked what we wanted, Crystal showed her the receipt, which clearly showed Nachos. Then I showed her the dinner, and asked, "Would you pay over three and a half bucks for that chicken?" In a few minutes, a gentleman I assumed was the manager came up to the register, and got out a five dollar bill and some change and held it out to us. I asked what he was doing, and he said he was told we wanted a refund. I said, "No, we want our food. we did not get the Nachos, and the chicken samples my wife got were totally inadequate. He stated it would take a few minutes, as they had to fix more strips.
We finally got the rest of our order and took it home to eat. Naturally, the Snackers were cooled off quite a bit as was Crystal's corn on the cob. It was not busy enough to make everybody working there go stupid on us.
