Sears Complaint - Sears Sucks - GT 6000 Riding Tractor Mower
FRESNO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA -- We have tried to get our machine serviced since Early Feb. Tech came out and said it was customer abuse and I would have to pay 2700.00 to fix the problem. We were able to prove that the previous tech put the carburetor on wrong sucking in dust and dirt into engine. They replaced the carb but did not clean the engine. After threatening to picket surprise they said they would fix our machine. The first engine came in cracked the second engine was the wrong size they couldn't find any more rebuilts so they promised me a brand new engine. Its been a month and a week even thou they promised it would be shipped within 7-10 days now they are telling me they are having trouble finding a new engine. In our master protection agreement it clearly states a product would be replaced if they cant repair or fix our machine. Now they are trying to renege on that. Is it because I haven't paid for the new year on the protection plan.
I'm finding it hard to write a check for something I paid for last year and still am not being taken care of. what does sears expect. I have paid for my protection plan every year faithfully I have paid for spring maintenance each year. Why doesn't sears keep up on their part. I have been a customer for over 15 years. Our parents brought us up trusting sears. I don't think my grown up kids will follow they see what we have been thru.
