United Parcel Service Complaint - UPS - crooked!
PENSACOLA, FLORIDA -- My daughter and her husband routinely sell items on EBay and have used UPS often in the past to ship the items. They shipped two very large & expensive stereo speakers to a client, with insurance. The client (for whatever reason) accepted the items and photographed himself opening the boxes, even though he apparently knew the items had been damaged in shipping. Although he waited too long to complain to PayPal, he filed a statement of non-receipt with UPS. Now, all the funds associated with this transaction are tied up while UPS sorts it all out with the client's credit card company. This transaction occurred in February, it is now mid-May, and UPS still refuses to honor their insurance, citing the fact that they did not pack the items; however, they DID INSURE the items. While they wait to sort this out, they are shipping everything by US Postal Service. Never trust UPS!
