IRobot Corporation Informative - Scooba Malfunction - Scooba 5900

I have spent many dollars and much time with my IRobot scooba. I have trouble shot with technical support so often that I am waiting for my engineering degree in the mail. I have spent additional money for a battery that did not fix the problem. I have contacted them to have them resolve this problem and they advised all they could do being that there are no repair centers is to discount a new one at 15%.

Why would I want to spend more money on a completely unreliable product and company.

We have had an Irobot Roomba for a couple of years now. We had a problem with the first one and the company sent us another one at no charge. The Roomba is an innovative idea, but the it takes constant supervision and work to set up the perimeters. I have found that a regular vacuum cleaner does just as good a job in less time.

I love my Roomba. I held out for the newer model and it works great. BTW, it isn't suppose to work faster then a regular vac. It is suppose to work without you being in the room. Never was interested in the Scooba. Sorry it wasn't working out for the OP. But I do love the idea.
