McDonald's Corporation Complaint - Bad Service - Manager Attitude
HARRISBURG, PENNSYLVANIA -- Hi, I have been going to McDonalds for many, many years and I always enjoyed when I get good service which is often but tonight was different. About 1AM May 18, 2008, I went to McDonalds on Paxton St. in Harrisburg, PA. After waiting for almost half hour, I ordered a Premium Chicken meal for $5.99. She said it was 6.49. When I was to pay, I asked the cashier why it was 6.49 when should've been 6.36. She told me that she didn't know, so I said to her to ask him (the manager was next to her listening) he heard and didn't day anything so she looked at me and asked me if I wanted it (the order). I said to her yes of course, I paid, got my order and left because I didn't want to argue, but of course I was upset.
I do not appreciate the fact that I was ignored the least I deserved was an answer, if it was a simple mistake why so much ignorance. I didn't ask with an attitude or anything. I'm sure if I had an attitude I would've got an answer.
Is not the fact that was only 13 cents more. Is the fact that if every customer get over charged a "few" cents over, this manager goes home at the end of the day with 30 or 40 dollars!! That's how they made me feel when I got no explanation. I didn't ask them in a bad manner I just wanted to know if they made a mistake, being that the computer on the drive window said Classic Chicken instead of Premium Chicken, I do not know how that work but whenever I get charged more than ten cents anywhere, I ask questions because I'm on a budget.
Also When he took my order I couldn't even here him. No greetings, no come to the next window, nothing. McDonalds, Burger King any restaurant is known for greeting their customers, so they comeback.
I would like that you would tell this manager that is his job to answer the questions the customers have when he is working. Someone should reminded him to do his job.
I'd like to keep visiting that McDonald for is closer to where I live so I won't be visiting McDonalds as often because the other one is far from me.
I hope to hear your response about this concern.
