Restaurants Complaint - Whiners - McDonalds

Review by AB on 2008-05-21
Whine whine whine whine whine. Gosh in today's world everyone knows that nothing is going to go perfect. So many of us complain about fast food restaurants that give us bad service but we still insist ongoing out to eat even thou we know there is a 50/50 chance of something not going right. Cold food, wrong order, bad customer service, over billed under billed, dirty restaurant, loud kids screaming in the next booth... what a surprise you knew there was a chance of this happening, so why did you go.

Don't get me wrong I would get upset about this as well if I went out and this happened to me but I don't go out so I avoid the headache. Screaming kids are not my cup of tea and either is an unenjoyable meal and company. No matter what we do or where we go there is always a chance of something not going our way that is a fact of life. So knowing this insightful information the question remains why do we put ourselves through this. Do you really think that when you get home with the wrong order and you call steaming and get a 17 year old supervisor that has a grade 4 education and 5 kids, that they care.

You rant and rant and they give you what you want and then they get off the phone and call you everything but what you are because they hate you and their job so much. Whining is really not going to make things any better why don't you just stop doing the things that annoy you and give you reason to complain more than what you would have if you did not do it.

Which McD's do you work at?

Welcome Abeat, you are at the right place to rant. I hope the rest of your day goes better.
If one is served undercooked hot wings or poorly prepared sandwiches shouldn't they complain about it? I mean, we all can't be a recluse like you.

Who do we complain about when we screw up dinner at home? No one...why? Because we have no one but ourself to complain about. So, we automatically think screw ups doesn't happen in a public place, only privately.

Basher's Bistro...Complaint

What's wrong with this Basher person? I went there for a famous Basher burger, only to find that the burger was too big to fit in the small bun. Doesn't she know a burger should be the SAME size of the bun? Not smaller, Not larger...the SAME size! Also, she put this slop on it that looked good on the photo, but when I got it, and bit into my burger, it plopped all over my blouse and into my "crease". It was embarrassing...I couldn't even hold the burger without the bun sliding all over, lettuce and mayo dripping...although I was warned, to "Bite into the Basher Burger at your own risk"...I didn't think that warning applied to me because I've never slopped up my clothes anyplace else, so for all the pain and suffering and embarrassment, I DEMAND Basher pays for my dry cleaning, I DEMAND she gives me free food for a year...although I'll NEVER eat there again!
And to make matters worse...she ACCEPTED the tip I gave her!

I don't complain,I expect crappy service from most of these fast food places...which is probably why I don't eat FF much.

I'm perfect,I don't screw up meals at home.I should be an Iron Chef

You sound like the kind of person that would douse a loudmouth with a tartar munition just for spite--not that there's anything wrong with that.

I'm pretty ripped right now, so I'll add some lovage...

I probably wouldn't love my life either if I was 17 and had kids and held a McDonaldy little seahorse job...

Your posting was funny, it made me chuckle huckle a little bit to and fro...but yeah, you are right...big women and needy individuals are Hollywood when it comes to fast food. They think that they are the equator of the universe and service and/or food should be catered to them in a carpet ride fashion.

Indeed dimplepie.

I'm with Steve on this one. On the rare occasion that we actually go to any restaurant I expect something to be wrong. And if it does, things happen. Which is why we eat at home. Then I don't have to deal with cranky teenagers working in a fast food restaurant nor do I have to sit and listen to the screaming children in the next booth who have parents too oblivious to notice that their little beasts are enraging everyone within a 20 foot radius.

I'm also with Steve on this...the only time I get 'cranky' about an eatery, is if it is promoted as a 'nice' place. McD's is not a 'nice' place...anywhere. Nor are any of the other FF places. They are simply a place to dodge in, when on the road, and get a sack full of 'belly wadding'.
