Gateway Complaint - Gateways screws their customers.
OMAHA, NEBRASKA -- I purchased a remanufactured Gateway notebook.
The notebook arrived with a dead pixel in the screen. It also arrived in a different configuration than I had ordered. (It didn't include a 3.5" floppy drive as they advertised).
Since the item arrived in a damaged condition, and the PC was not what I ordered, I inquired into getting a full refund, but was told that Gateway charges you a 15% "restocking" fee.
How can you re-stock an item that is damaged?
No amount of discussion would budge these shysters.
I just ordered a Dell. Hopefully, they'll treat me better.
