PetEdge Compliment - Delivery Speed and Product Satisfaction

ARIZONA -- PetEdge - Hawaiian Hound Dog ToteOn Wednesday, May 21, 2008 I ordered a pair of matching dog totes for our up-coming trip to Washington. Since hubby uses a wheelchair on longer shopping trips and for "walks" around the neighborhood (I walk, he rides)...I thought the dogs would be safer in a tote when riding with hubby in the wheelchair...legs would be protected from wheel spokes, etc and it would make it easier and faster to carry them through the airport and onto the plane.

They arrived a few minutes ago...and this is LESS than 48 hours after I ordered!! Our UPS guy is great, brought it right up on the porch and handed it to me!

We checked the totes and the only "complaint" I have is where they placed the safety strap and clip. I'd have made the strap 4" longer and put it in the end of the tote AWAY from the opening. A dogs collar should never be attached to one of these clips, our dogs can't even stand up when attached by the collar! I'm not returning them, I can make them work...but it seems a harness would be much safer for the dog (any dog...even one with short legs), and having the safety clip located close to the top of the tote on the end away from the opening would be a much better choice.

PetEdge is a catalog you can order from and pay wholesale prices without being a business. The mail ordering office is in Mass. on the east coast, one of the warehouses is in Nevada, which is where my order came from....I was really impressed with the speed of the order arriving and the product on a whole.

If you need a place for great deals, closeout sales, etc. for your pets, check out www.petedge.com and see for yourself. These totes were $29.99 EACH and I got them BOTH for $9.98

Thanks for the info and your recommendation. I've used Doctors Foster & Smith for catalog pet supplies and have been pretty happy with them. I'll keep these folks in mind, thanks to your post.

Any time, Doc, why pay retail if you don't have too, and in this day and age when gas is so high, I don't go to Petsmart unless I am going past the store while running errands.
I think I am going to try and have a D-ring put in the totes and then attach an interior strap and clip from their old leashes....these aren't quite what I wanted but they'll do in a pinch for the price....and I can make adjustments on them...hubby says I am handy that way!

What a little cutie!!! My mom has a little shih-tzu named coco I will definitely tell her about this because she is looking for a carrier for an up coming trip to Kentucky! Thanks for posting this Crystal.

YW, Principissa. I think for coco she might want one with the screened in ends and screened side....this is what I will look for in the future. We were in a crunch time and money wise so I got what was cheap and easy to get fast...and it was sent UPS ground and we had them in less than 48 hours. Order before noon for same day shipping!!
They have some really good deals!

I will definitely tell her to order that way. She has been looking for close to a month and has yet to find one that she likes. Funny you mention the screened in sides because that is the exact one she is looking for. The only color they seem to come in is black and she really doesn't want a black carrier. Do they carry clothes as well? My mom has this weird fetish of putting poor coco in dresses with matching bows.
