Oakley Complaint - 16 Million Pounds Of Pressure To Create Junk - Watch

Watch - Complaint
Review by Kaiserseal on 2008-05-23
MIAMI, FLORIDA -- Oakley advertises their blade watches forged under 16 million pounds of pressure, and with a new material unobainium. I purchased their $550 Stealth blade watch. The finish came off in little over a year, suggested I buy another one. They advertise as military, industrial grade, and sell an overpriced, substandard product. The first time I have had to throw a watch away. Shame.

Wow! That's disappointing, to spend $500 on a watch with a less durable finish than a $39 Timex. I was about to replace my Cammenga Navigator and was considering a Stealth as offered through my local AFES store. I'll reconsider now. Thanks! VH

Have to agree with Doc. Timex has to be the best watch for the dollar ever made.

Timex is a good dime-store bargain watch, little more.

Too bad Pirate isn't here anymore...he could have told you how to get discounted watch batteries....I miss that fella.

My wife's dime store 1969-ish Timex (post exchange) watch keeps ticking when my TWO $300+ Siekos quit! Now, there's some quality!

Slim, Spot on. You can't beat a Timex for the money. It's far from a good dime-store bargain watch for the price you pay. Maybe we should start building everything as good as Timex builds a watch. "Too bad Pirate isn't here anymore"? And why would you think that? Everyone else seems to know he is back.

"Luxottica is the closest thing to a monopoly, I can come up with.

Are you pissed off at LensCrafters? Just go to Pearle Vision right? Nope. Same company. Surely, Target or Sears will get you clear of the bad taste LenCrafters has left you with. No again."

If you want to avoid doing business with this company, you'll have to avoid all these brands.
