MasterCard Complaint - Car Rental Insurance Won't Pay
I rented a car in Sydney Australia. The reservation was with Advantage but the company turned out to be "Red Spot". I declined CDW to use the coverage with my platinum card. We had a small fender-bender, the sort that can be popped out and the company took $A3000 from my card until the damage was repaired. I filed a claim with Mastercard.
I keep asking but Red Spot has sent me no information on the damage. They claim they sent it to Mastercard. Mastercard say that whatever they sent was not detailed but won't send it on to me either.
Together they have conspired to not pay this claim and the "insurance" turns out to be worthless.
You never know about an insurance company until you make a claim.
