Home Depot Complaint - Bought Blinds And They Lied About Arrival Dates
CAROL STREAM, ILLINOIS -- I ordered $1,500 in special order blinds at the beginning of April 2008. The delivery date was to be April 14, 2008. I received a call that the blinds were in and went to pick them up. I was told that all 5 blinds and wood cornice were all in the box. Of course, I questioned that they could all be in one box. The people at the register opened them and said it looks like they are all here. Of course, when I got the box home there were only 3 blinds. I was told that the rest would be in around April 30. The next 2 blinds did come in. The wood cornice has been missing for over a month now. They keep giving another delivery date May 8 then May 22 and of course they did not find them and were irate with me when I asked where they were.
I would not recommend buying anything special order from them. If something ends up missing, they act like it is the biggest chore to look for it or call the company to see where it is. The employees were rude and the supervisor said that it is the responsibility of the special order employees to find out where it is. No one wants to do anything about it.
