Awesome Auger Complaint - Do Not Order This Product

Review by goodcat on 2008-05-26
SALYERSVILLE, KENTUCKY -- DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT!!!!!! It is a rip off. I ordered this product from a TV infomercial and was supposed to get 2 augers, extensions, free drill. All I got was the 2 augers. They are of no use to me with out the other pieces.

I paid cash for these, I have my receipts, now I want the rest of my order! This company should be held responsible for this mess. I know I am not alone with my feelings.

I understand your disappointment. But, has the company responded to your demand that they fulfill the entire order?

How did you pay cash when you ordered something from a TV infomercial? Most of these things sold on TV are usually junk. Walgreens and CVS often have the items for sale in their stores. They look pretty poor.

Ponie, I prefer to wait till stuff hits the drug stores, and walmart is now carrying a lot of "AS SEEN ON TV" stuff.
I'm one of those that have to touch and thoroughly examine before I buy.

Crystal...wait a little longer and it all ends up in the Goodwill...THEN you know it's crap. I used to see alot of those pots that had the lids that locked onto the pot and used as strainers...bunch of them at the Goodwill, very cheap made. Also a kilizillion of those omelet pans that fold in half...one look at those and you can see an inch opening around the entire thing...I'm sure all the stuff splatters out the sides...LOL. Right not the big thing making it into the Goodwills are those Tall plastic containers that you put hot water in, then your spaghetti, so you can cook spaghetti without cooking...First time I seen that on TV, all I can think of is one hard lumped together spaghetti wand...ewwwwwww....

Thanks for the heads up, DB. My niece could live on rice and pasta--not at the same time :)--and I've been tempted to buy one of those things for her. One item I have purchased that was/is advertised on TV is the fold-up colander. Got it at one of the drugstores. Works as promised. Folds up neatly and stores using hardly any room. And you know how much space a colander can take up.

I might have to try that Ponie...living in an apartment, I have had about 5 colanders, thinking one would take up less room than the other...if the folding one really works, I just may try it out...

I ordered this as well and only got 2 cheap augers that I promptly threw away. The company would not accept a return since there was nothing wrong with them. I learned a lesson to NOT buy anything "Billy" the pitch man advertises!
