Leslie's Pools Informative - Power Powder Plus

Review by debidu on 2008-05-27
KELLER, TEXAS -- Mid summer 07 took water in to be tested. Told associate details of my pool and was told power powder plus would take care of both shocking and super chlorinating. Just prior to closing pool, we noticed a the liner was in a weakened state that was pulling apart. After spending $800.00 to have new liner installed early spring, returned to Leslies to have water checked for startup. Was led to bags of sgock. Told him I still had 2 1/2 gal. of power powder plus. Was totally shocked when associate told me that could melt my liner.

I know with some pool chemicals you have to be very careful how you add them or they will damange your liner. Did you pour this stuff directly in or mix it in a bucket of water?

First of all Power Powder Plus is NOT a liquid so you couldn't have 2.5 gal. of it. Second, Leslies did nothing wrong they should not be accountable for your ignorance, if you don't want it to damage your liner predissolve, its that easy.
