Sears Complaint - Sears Re-Stocking Fee?!
Sears charged me a 20% re-stocking fee on the Humidifier I returned - even though it was in all the original packaging, returned within 60 days, and in 'As New' condition.(I used it for an hour and decided it was too loud, and the humidity sensor did not seem to work).
The Team Lead at the store said she was charging me the fee as the humidifier is a Seasonal Item - which is odd, as it is not found under their 'Seasonal Items' category online.
I've put in two complaints to Sears Customer Service so far - and they stand firm on not refunding my $25.
What ever happened to Sears?
Do they think the $25 they steal from me now will offset the thousands I would have spent in a lifetime?
That's the last time I'll spend my money in their store.
