Sears Complaint - Angry - Service Call
MARYLAND -- I had a problem with my garage door with the tension spring breaking. I called Sears to have to have them come out replace the spring. They were happy that I had entrusted the work to them. I was told that they would be at my home between the hours of 8-12pm. Therefore, I took a day off work to have the repairs done. At 11:45am I called the 1-800 # to find out if the technician was still coming? Now the phone rep tells me that I cam scheduled between the hours of 8 and 5pm. At 5:15pm still no serviceman or a cutesy call to let me know what is going on or if he was still showing up. I called sears and they told me the tech was running behind and would have to reschedule the repair.
When I asked to speak to someone higher to complain about missing a day of work and no one calling to let me know that the serviceman is not able to keep the appointment. This is piss poor service and seems to be a routine with Sears. Does anyone know the customer service number or a way to complain to Sears directly?
