Ashley Furniture Complaint - Put Off AGAIN.... - Purchased (but yet to be delivered) furniture
PHOENIX, ARIZONA -- My husband and I purchased furniture from Ashley Furniture in Phoenix (on Bell Rd.) and were told it couldn't be delivered for three weeks. That wasn't so bad, however, we were put off three more weeks when we received a message that the factory was "running late". I asked if we could cancel our order since we were expecting guests and needed the living room furniture before they arrived. I was told there would be a 30% restocking fee. Restocking fee? For furniture that was not in stock? I told them I would charge them 30% for postponing our order. The store manager told us he could get a partial delivery to us but that one of the tables was not ready. He said he would call me back on Tuesday morning. It's Wednesday and still no return call.
This isn't the first time Ashley Furniture has taken our money and not delivered. Our fault for not learning the first time. This is a warning to you. Don't get caught up in their purpetual delivery problems. Buy elsewhere and make sure there isn't a catch to the delivery such as a 30% restocking fee. What a rip!!!
