JCPenney Informative - Good Transaction - Online Ordering
MADISONVILLE, KENTUCKY -- Hubby and I went out last weekend to purchase some new bedding. We have a California (Western) King so it is very rare that we find a set in a store in that size. We found a great set on sale in the store, only they didn't have the sheets in the size we needed.
The sales associate helping us said that we can order the sheets online as they had them in the size we wanted.
We ordered on Saturday and the sheets arrived this afternoon!
About the only thing I would change on their online ordering system is that you don't have an option to select the type of shipping you want (overnight, standard) and they do not give you a tracking number so that you can track your order to see when it will arrive. It's like a guess and wait game. Items that are in stock will ship out the next business day which is great, however that doesn't tell a customer when the items will be arriving so they can make sure they are home to retrieve the package.
I will still continue to shop at JCPenney brick and mortar stores, and I do compliment them on their fast deliveries and easy ordering process, but the lack of information available to the customer after ordering has turned me off to their online store.
Perhaps if they change things around and allow customers to choose which type of shipping they want and provide a tracking number I will use them again but until that time I will just stick to the store itself.
