Mobistar Complaint - Warning - Mobistar Belgium

Avoid MOBISTAR at all costs. Throughout a 2 year GSM contract I had to go to their shop on average once every 2 months to correct a mistake. I would receive a penalty charge whereupon I would then go to the shop to complain and they would admit the mistake.

Unsurprisingly, I terminated my contract with them, in accordance with their rules. However, four months after having terminated the contract I received a further invoice from them. Having refused to pay, they put my name into a database for fraudulent and defaulting debtors. They then instructed a debt collecting agency and charged an additional penalty of €85.

In reality, there is simply nothing one can do so I paid. Not many people have the time or energy to go to court to dispute an invoice for €131.

I switched to BASE a few months ago and have had no problems with them.
