Phone Card Company For Long Distance Complaint - Bad Service And The Take Customer Money

Review by Habesha king on 2008-06-02
SILVER SPRING, MARYLAND -- I am an immigrant guy, from Africa, since I came to usa I use phone card to call my family back home. I don't remember having good service from the phone card company and most the time I buy phone card try to call but doesn't work the bad thing is every time I tried to call any number it will cost me at least $ 0.1 Some times my card went to zero. After repeated trial, if I call the customer service to complain about it they will say you call this number and you talk this much minute.

One day one customer service said to me our system don't lie. I think this is to mean I am lying to her to get some credit.

Please people help us to stop this cheating. I know why this thing got no solution, it is because almost all of the customers for this cards companies are immigrant and we don't know what to do and where to complain.

Please America solve this problem.

Most all the companies offering such cards are buying excess bandwidth from the major carriers. They have no incentive to provide any real customer service because they make little profit.

Thank you for coming to America, and welcome! It's a disservice to consumers if a cell phone provider or calling card issuer charges regular minute rates for calls to their customer service. It gives such companies no incentive to offer real customer service, as PassingBy observed.

there was an article very recently about an investigation into phonecard sales for this exact reason. I also have had bad experiences with cards. Look at the website as they are very good.
